Meet the Teacher
My name is Dora Christopoulos and I am very proud to be your child's teacher this year! I have been teaching for 20 years and have taught Pre-School, Young Fives, Kindergarten, First Grade, Third Grade, and Science in the past. I am very happy to be back in Kindergarten and look forward to a wonderful year with you and your child!
I went to Wayne State University for my undergraduate program and also received my Master's Degree in Teaching from Wayne. I truly see myself as a lifelong learner and continuously try to enhance my skills through professional development. I am a member of our School Improvement Team and just recently helped to pilot our new reading series for the district.
I am happily married to my husband, Steve, and have two children. My daughter's name is Lia and my son's name is Yanni. You will hear a lot about them this year from your child because I am constantly talking about my kids to the class!
